Spent an amazing weekend in a serene mountain location. Enjoyed the onsen and the delicious breakfast spread. The hotel is conveniently located near popular attractions and despite it being a peak season, it was not overcrowded.
Although the room was comfy, there was no air conditioning, and it was quite noisy due to the open window. The staff wasn't as approachable as expected, and there were a few glitches with meal timings.

We spent our Christmas holiday in a cozy hotel in the beautiful town of Higashikawa. the rooms were spacious and well, maintained, with stunning views of the surrounding nature. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious buffet, style dinner with a variety of options to choose from, including a selection of fresh seafood. Another advantage was the proximity to the ski slopes, with easy access to the lifts just a short walk away.

This hotel is conveniently located just opposite of a bus stop and near to most of the interesting places around this area. Although it’s not close to the gondola, it’s a nice 15-minute walk. the service is exceptional and the buffet breakfast is filled with Japanese and western options. the rooms are well-maintained and roomy with beautiful views of the surrounding greenery. the onsen is small, but they offer access to a larger one nearby.
The hotel’s WiFi is only available in the public area and can be slow at times.
